Technology

"Flower UA Granite" carries out quarrying according to the classic technology - an open method with the help of rope sawing machines. As a matter of principle, we do not use explosives and only use equipment that is characterized by high productivity, simplicity of construction, and the possibility of mining monoliths in difficult conditions.

The enterprise constantly updates and modernizes the production base, which is a guarantee of obtaining high-quality products.

The Unique Field

We carry out industrial development of the Southern section of the Mezhyrichskyi deposit (area is 7.43 hectares), which is considered one of the best granite mining sites in Ukraine. The deposit is located near the village of Mezhyrichka in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region, which is the region with the richest decorative stone reserves in Ukraine (the volume of reserves is 149.7 million m3).

The deposit belongs to group 2 (deposits of a complex geological structure) in terms of the occurrence and quality of the mineral and corresponds to the first class in terms of the level of natural radiation of natural stone, which indicates the possibility of its use for a wide range of construction works.

According to experts, the potential of the Mezhyrichskyi deposit allows the deepening and expansion of the quarry, as well as the extraction of granite raw materials for several hundred years.

"Flower UA Granite" carefully ensures compliance with environmental requirements and regulations.

Non-use of explosives, cyclical use of water, and complete rejection of chemical solutions and reagents during stone extraction and primary processing are the main principles we adhere to in order to preserve the environment.

In order to preserve environmental safety, rational use of natural resources, and protection of natural complexes and objects in the enterprise's area of activity, we constantly monitor the following:

  • impact on atmospheric air quality at the border of sanitary protection and the nearest residential buildings;

  • impact on the quality of underground and surface waters;

  • impact of noise and vibrations on the environment at the border of residential buildings.

We carry out annual radiation control of raw materials mined in the quarry and products from it.
